Hi! I can’t even believe February vacation is here already! We finished up a short unit on American Symbols and Presidents. We had fun getting our pictures taken in the “Oval Office”. We just might have a future president in our class :)! We will begin our Space Unit when we come back from break. We will learn about space through March.
READING AND LANGUAGE ARTS
Each child has book(s) to read over vacation. PLEASE, make sure your child reads each day. Reading before bed is a great habit to make. Kids can read alone, to a relative or even to a pet....just read :)!
We wrote about the character traits that we already have that would make us a good president. We also practiced our letter writing skills and wrote letters to Max! The kids are getting really good with making sure they use the five parts to a letter. I bet grandparents would love to get a letter in the mail.
MATH
Check out some of the fun math websites you can find through a google search. They have lots available!
