Hi! We have had a super fun week! We continued our fairy tale and matter unit. We learned about the various properties of matter by trying to figure out what type of matter was inside different balloons. We did our first official lab report after. In fairy tale land we painted scenery, castles, made beanstalks and decorated crowns. We are finishing writing fairy tales. We can’t wait to share everything with you on Wednesday!
THE RUNAWAY UNICORN
We will put on the play, THE RUNAWAY UNICORN, for families and friends
on Wednesday, Feb.14th at 8:30 a.m. in the cafeteria…a great way to start
of your Valentine’s morning :)! We will have you back to the room after to share

VALENTINE’S DAY PARTY
We will have a small party after lunch. Our Valentine folders are already up so
kids may bring their valentines in at anytime. I have attached another class list
in case your first one did not make it home. If you happen to add any candy to
your valentines, please make sure it is peanut free.

ITEMS OF INTEREST
* In honor of the winter games we are learning about the Olympics and even
taking part in a VCS one in our classroom!
* Flex started today. Ask your child what they did!
