NEWSLETTER 5-8-20

What a great week! We started with special Star Wars Day on May the Fourth, had lots of recycled projects and then ended with Fort Night. SO much fun!! I was so amazed with the recycled projects! Many creative ideas! I love how involved everyone is in our assignments!! If anyone else has pictures out there, I'd love to add them! Send them my way!!

Mrs. Dorrity had her baby on Tuesday, May 5th!!

Her name is AnnaJoy. 

We got plant pots, seeds and dirt in the Guess Box!

Fort Night was a huge success!! We had 74 people attend!

Looking ahead to next week, here is an email I just sent out:

Just wanted to give you all a heads up. I sent the kids a letter today. It should be there tomorrow or Monday. The Primary Team is doing a Flat Teacher project next week. It actually goes with the project First Grade did this year with the book, Flat Stanley. They will receive a letter, writing page and a Flat Mrs. Kimball. Next week their project will be to take me on a home adventure...we could read, play, watch a movie or even have breakfast together. Sometime during the week take at least one picture of us doing something together. On Friday's Zoom we will share the writing piece. I will be making a slideshow for the kids with all the pictures. 

We'll also be using the Flat Stanley books during lessons next week.

LAST CALL for Fort Night pictures. 10:00 is the deadline if you want your child in the slideshow.
