Hi! Not too much to report this week. We continue to work hard academically. Most of us love playing Level Up math and are disappointed if we don't get to it. We are working on place value to the hundreds. We did some snowman writing and are still learning about space. The kids are very happy with the snow, even if the adults are not. We have lots more to do on the playground now!!
It's hard to believe February hits this week! Check folders Monday for ways you can help with our Valentine's Day party and our class lists. We will be celebrating in our own classroom. However, I will be sure to include the other first grade list because I know many would like to do both classes when making valentines.
We have a field trip coming up on Thursday, February 16th to the UMaine Planetarium. If you've never been, it's pretty awesome! They have family shows on Sundays and school vacations. We will be taking chaperones so be sure to mark the date if you'd like to come! Bus will leave at 9:00 and return at 11:00.
