Hi! We had a great two days doing service learning and other special team building activities. Of course, we did throw a little reading in there. It was fun to just be with the kids. Thankful journals and Turkey Diaries are coming home today. There is also some word work and math packets. I told the kids if they did them, they could earn five gems a packet. It's up to them if they want to do them or not. The Scholastic News Magazines are for them to keep.
The kids LOVED having McDonald's at school today! We were treated to a special game in which each child got to pick a number and then match it to a present. We have a very generous classmate! We watched Toy Story on a HUGE blow up screen in the gym. We had a special two days together!
