SOME PICS FROM WEEK OF 9-26

A new math game...exchanging $1 and $10 bills to get to $100.

Sharing Stories.

Tissue Paper Fall Leaves.

IXL

A visit from University of Maine M.A.A.V. club members.
(Male Athletes Against Violence)
Jean Point, football player, came to our room to read a story and do an activity.
We loved the mini sports balls he brought us!

We also met Sam Lenson, football, and Nick Sundquist, swimming.

We did a science experiment that showed us
how volcanoes create new land...
Baking Soda + Vinegar = FUN!

Out back looking for leaves :)!

Could a volcano appear in our backyard?
We found the answer to this question by using line plots to graph the volcanoes of the world.
I loved watching all the thinking and teamwork going on!
