Hi! Boy this week has been one of sickness for our classroom! Hopefully, we will get everyone, including me, healthy and back to normal soon! We finished up our Space Unit and will begin learning about the Rainforest next week.
A huge thank you to our PTO for bringing the humpback whale to our school on Wednesday! It was AMAZING!!! I'm sure your kids told you all about it. Something they'll never forget! I won't either!
In Math we are working on being able to tell what number comes ten before and ten after any number. Also, one before and one after any number. It gets tricky remembering which way to go on the number grid when doing this. We're also working on using dimes and pennies for counting tens and ones.
UPCOMING DATES
* Monday, March 9 - Leprechaun trap supplies can start coming in. Please try to put everything in a box or bag so we can know who brought what.
* Thursday, March 12 - Leprechaun Trap Building!! Dress for Mess! We will be using paint, glue and glitter!
* Thursday, March 12 - Early Release Day - Students leave at 11:30.
* Friday, March 13 - No School - Teacher Inservice.
* Monday, March 16 - We will share our traps with the school at various times throughout the day. Parents are invited to pop in if they are free - do not take a day off for this! Just throwing it out there for those available. The best times to pop in will be anytime between: 9:00 - 9:30, 10:30 - 11:20 or 12:30 - 1:00.
* Tuesday, March 17 - St. Patrick's Day - Wear Green!!
