NEWSLETTER 10-27-17

Dear Parents,

Hi! It was great getting a chance to talk to you all these past few days! We had lots going on this week. We made space mobiles, launched space shuttles, finished Charlotte’s Web, did a Robotics build and wrote haunted house stories.

Pre - K and Kindergarten came to watch one of our practices this week. We can’t wait to show our play, THE UGLY PUMPKIN, to family and friends on Tuesday, Oct. 31st at 8:30 in the cafeteria.

We worked with our Primary Buddies today. We taught them to read THE ITSY BITSY SPIDER. We also taught them the hand movements. We have some awesome leaders in our room!

We took advantage of this spooky time of year and learned about our skeleton. We made x-rays of our hands. They are hanging in our windows. We also learned some names of the bones in the human body. Ask your child what animal has a skeleton similar to our own!

Thank you to everyone who sent in items for our Halloween centers already. Also, thank you to those of you who donated a book for our classroom! The kids get so excited when we get new books to read :)!

REMINDERS

  • THE UGLY PUMPKIN will be presented to family and friends on Tuesday, Oct. 31st at 8:30 in the cafeteria. We will invite you back to our room for stories following the play. The entire thing should last about 45 minutes.

HAPPY WEEKEND!
