has this year gone? Our musical is getting better each day! We can’t
wait to share it with you next Thursday at one of our two performances
(1:00 and 6:00) in the gym!
We did a couple of fun writing projects. We decorated pineapples and
wrote about our favorite thing about Grades 1-2. We also wrote a summer
acrostic poem.
We have lots of reading going on. I save my favorite book unit for
last...Song books! We are having fun reading Iza Trapani books.
She is a Russian author that takes the tune of children songs and
rewrites the words to make a story. We’ve also enjoyed many other
authors. A favorite this week has been PUFF THE MAGIC DRAGON.
