GRADES 1-2 NEWS 6-8-18

Hi! What a great show last night!! Thank you to all that came

and supported us. The kids worked so hard and loved having
the chance to perform for you! I couldn’t be more proud of them!

We started a new mini unit this week on the ocean. We happened
to be talking about ocean animals and everyone seemed really
interested in finding out more so I pulled out all the ocean books.
I’ve been reading them the book, Andre. They might have asked
you if you ever saw the famous harbor seal when you were little.

We learned some new tricks on the Chrome books! We know how
to use Comic Writer and Word Art. They are bookmarked on my
portaportal page if you want to check them out at home. Password
is VSC2.

Thank you to everyone who sent in items for our cast party. The
clown sundaes were a big hit!

We would like everyone to wear their Circus, Circus t-shirt on
our last day of school, Friday, June 15th. We are going to have
a signing party.

This is our last newsletter of the year.  It has been absolutely wonderful
working with your children this year. They are a great group of kids and
I will miss spending my days with them! Please keep your kids reading
this summer. Also, don’t forget about the Library and MakerSpace being
open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
