FIRST GRADE NEWS

Dear Parents,

Hi! I’m sending this home early so I can give reminders about tomorrow.
We have been extremely busy this week! We made rainforest umbrellas,
rainforest murals, iguanas, frogs, wrote stories and even did a research
project! It’s been fun!!

Tomorrow we will head to the Old Town YMCA. We will be gone all
afternoon. The kids signed themselves up for their activities. Some
will be swimming. Please remember to send a bathing suit and towel
if your child is swimming.

DATES TO REMEMBER

• Friday, March 29th - Old Town YMCA field trip. Ask your child if s/he
• is swimming.
• Friday, April 5th - Swim Lessons - Pack your suit and towel.
• Wednesday, April 10th - An Earth Day Carol at 8:30 in the cafeteria.
• If you or a family member cannot make it, please let me know in advance
• and I will find a sibling or special friend to come.
• Friday, April 12th - Swim Lessons - Pack your towel.
• Monday, April 15th - Friday, April 20th - Spring Break!
