Dear Parents,
Hi! Our musical rehearsals are getting better and better! Mark your calendars
for Thursday, June 13th at 6:00. We would like students to wear blue or jean
shorts to go with the t-shirts we are ordering. T-shirts are $8 and we are taking
donations for t-shirts for those needing it.

READING AND LANGUAGE ARTS
We wrote short fairy tales this week. We read many versions of JACK AND
THE BEANSTALK and then made ourselves into Jack climbing our own
beanstalk to get to our castle.

MATH
We are on our last unit in Math. We will be working with money. Have your
child sort your change and count it. I am having them sort and then count the
largest value coins first and then work down to the pennies.

DATES TO REMEMBER
- Monday, May 27th - No School - Memorial Day.
- Friday, June 1st - Last book order of the year is due.
- Tuesday, June 4th - Bunnies visit.
- Thursday, June 6th - Airport Field Trip. Bus leaves at 8:30 a.m.
- Tuesday, June 11th - Books for Bikes Drawing.
- Thursday, June 13th - Primary Musical 1:30 and 6:00pm. The Darling’s
- Ice Cream Truck will be outside after the night performance.
- Friday, June 14th - Cast Party, Step Up Day
- Monday, June 17th - Last Student Day. Field Day. PTO Picnic.
