The kids have been having a blast
sliding down our hill and
working together to build forts at recess!
We added some extra fun to our building materials...
bells and snow villages. The bells worked great
with our Magna-Tiles creations!
It is so much fun learning about all of our
wonderful family traditions!
We are using dimes and pennies to play an Exchange Game.
Take 4 (or more) dimes and 20 (or more) pennies.
Put them in a bank (the middle).
Take turns rolling a dice. Take that many pennies.
When you have ten pennies you say EXCHANGE.
Trade 10 pennies for 1 dime (or ten ones for one ten).
Keep playing until bank is empty (eventually just keep taking pennies).
Don't forget to count up totals at end to see who had the most.
This is a GREAT game to play at home to practice Place Value!
The kids did an OUTSTANDING job at the Holiday Concert!
It was fun to watch them shine!
And as we hope for...
Friday afternoon if all the week's work is done...
STEM choice!
