NEWSLETTER 12-8-17

Hi! It was great to see you all at the concert! The kids did such an awesome job! I was so proud of them all! We had Guess Box to celebrate their success :)!

We used rulers to help us make Christmas trees. The kids had to make a one inch border with pattern, find the middle of the paper to make top of tree and draw straight lines. They added designs in crayon and then painted in water colors. The best part is the inspirational saying they added to their art. Our goal was to create happiness and positive vibes.

We started practicing a readers’ theater, THE NUTCRACKER. We will read it to our primary buddies the day before vacation.

We started using Google Docs this week. The kids loved it and are doing great with it. We even learned how to insert a picture and center a title! They are having fun typing stories. If you have it at home, they’d love to try it there also!

We had fun practicing nouns, verbs, adjectives and adverbs with our peer helpers. Mad Libs are a great, and funny, way to practice grammar. They also make great holiday gifts ;)!

Happy Weekend!
