Hello! We are ready for vacation! What a busy week. We started with our 100th day celebration then Valentine's Day, Swim/Gym and finally Flex Friday. We learned about the sun and started learning about moon. We will finish the moon and the entire space unit the week after vacation. A cool app that tells you what is out in space above you is SkyView. The free version does plenty. Your child might enjoy it! Another space FYI - the UMaine Planetarium has shows all vacation week. Upcoming February Dates:
Tuesday, February 27th - Making Space Stations
Wednesday, February 28th - Planetarium field trip. Bus leaves at 9:10. Feel free to join us!
Thursday, February 29th - Swim/Gym/Gymnastics and After school Skiing.
I hope you all have a fantastic vacation. Please make sure your child reads and is read to this week. Second Grade will be here before we know it.
Thank you for all your help in sending in things for our treat box, classroom supplies, our Valentine's Day Party and for space stations. I really appreciate all of your help.
