First Grade News

Hi! We have soared through the inner planets and will head through the asteroid belt next week! We are writing facts down in our Family of the Sun books. Ask your child to tell you what they know about the first four planets.

We are working with counting up to find the difference between two numbers in math. We start at the smallest number and count up to reach the larger number. This has been tricky. We will continue it next week.

We started reading Robert Munsch books! They are hilarious! We are having fun learning about him as well!

Mr. Baker started student teaching with us this week. He will be here for six weeks. We welcome him.

I sent home the UFLI for next week early because it looks like a Snow Day on Monday...hopefully not!

I cannot believe I didn't get any pics this week! That just tells you how busy we were!

UPCOMING DATES
