Week Two...We're Getting This First Grade Thing :)

It's great to see how quickly everyone is getting used to their new first grade routine. We are using the super hero theme to learn about ways to be better friends and motivated workers. Today we talked about making sure we do not "wrinkle any capes". We were able to see how the wrinkles do not totally go away. We pledged to think before we speak and act so our school family keeps their capes strong. 

We had so much fun seeing everyone's baby pictures and hearing about how we all got our names. We played a guessing game with the pictures and used them for a special project. (No photos were harmed in today's events and all will be returned :)!)

We can't forget Math :)! We've learned three new games:  Number Squeeze, Penny/Dice and Bunny Hop.
