First Grade News 5-21-21

Hi! What a beautiful week it's been! We have really got into learning about rivers. We especially enjoyed our trip to the river and painting rivers. We learned the different parts of a river and why they are important to us. We used our information to write river poetry and label our paintings. We will be starting on oceans Monday for the remainder of the year.

We started learning how to use Google Docs. We can get to our drive, start a new paper or finish an old one, change the font, change text size and color and even insert a picture. It's pretty exciting! We will be adding some more to these skills next week as we begin to use them to write an ocean animal report.
