Hi! We'd like to give a huge THANK YOU to all of you who made Teacher Appreciation Week so special! We feel so fortunate to be working with such amazing kids and families! It's been such a great year. We're just trying to slow it down! :)
This week we had lots of fun celebrating May the 4th with a Star Wars themed day. We measured Star Wars characters, did Star Wars Madlibs, did STEM builds and even made edible light sabers. It was a great day!
We also made surprise gifts for our moms. We read lots of books relating to mothers. We hope everyone out there has a very Happy Mother's Day weekend!
We finished our last unit in our math books. From here on out we will be reviewing all of the concepts we learned this year. We will also throw in a few challenges to keep us moving.
We will be finishing up rain forest and relative abundance this week. Our last unit will be on rivers and oceans. We will "travel" down the Penobscot to the Atlantic.
We are also on our last Dragon Masters book!!! This means Dragon Day will be approaching. Too many "lasts" but lots of excitement as we close our year out.
