PICS FROM WEEK ENDING 2-6-2020

What a busy and fun week!

Lots of Show and Shares.

We published stories in heart shaped books.

Sixth Grade came and read aloud to us on
World National Read Aloud Day.

It was the 100th day of school!
We found Hershey Kisses and had to match
the number to put them on our 100 grid.

We wrote about what we will have done by
the time we are 100 years old.

We made space stations and wrote about them.

Our work that is displayed in the hallway.

Happy 100th Day of School!

Happy Weekend!

FIRST GRADE NEWS 2-6-2020

Hi! I’m sending this early in case the predictions for tomorrow are actually right this time haha. We had a great time celebrating the 100th day of school today. We read books, found 100 kisses, wrote stories and even “spent” $100. We also worked on our Family of the Sun books as we learned about asteroids, meteors and comets. We finished Unit Six in Math. We wrote about people we love a sloth and made paper sloths. They are hanging in the hall.

Also, sorting and counting change is always fun...especially if you get to keep it after :)! Sort first and then count largest coins to smallest coins. Most importantly...have fun outside :)

  • Happy Weekend!
