SECOND GRADE NEWS

Congratulations to these amazing second graders! Miss LaGrange and I couldn’t have been more proud of them! They really worked hard and pulled off an incredible show! Thank you all who were able to come today. It meant a lot to the kids. They loved being able to show off their work!

We did lots of play rehearsal this week. We also learned about two types of volcanoes. They are chrome and shield volcanoes. They are not only shaped differently but form different types of rocks! We had fun doing an experiment to learn about how some explode while others just slowly let out lava. We’ll be working with earthquakes next week!

We had fun with our Primary Wing Buddies today. We read them bat books, sang bat songs and illustrated bat books. We pretty much went batty!

Halloween Hullabaloo tonight from 4:30 - 6:30!

Students may wear Halloween costumes on Monday. Just make sure they are comfortable to move in and no weapons. We will be doing Pre-K, K, 1 and 2 stem stations. It’s going to be a great day!

Have a great weekend!
