Hi! How can it be December already?! It was even fairly warm out today! We had a great week. We started our tradition shares. We learned about the Mexican tradition of the posada and the legend behind the poinsettia. We made poinsettias after.
We started writing our own stories. We have some pretty creative first graders! We made reindeer our of our hands and feet. We worked on measuring as we made link chains that were even taller than the teachers!
Wednesday, December 6th at 6:00 pm is our Music Concert. It will be in the gymnasium. Students should be in the cafeteria by 5:50.
Report Cards will come home Thursday, Dec. 7th.
Miss Jarvis' last day is Friday, Dec. 8th.
Friday, December 15th our Prek - 2 students will be going to The Grand in Ellsworth to see Elf the Musical. Field trip notices will be coming home sometime next week.
Thursday, Dec. 21st is an early release day. 11:25 dismissal. Students may choose to bring a bag lunch home from school that day. We will still have snack at school. Vacation begins this day.
