Hi! What a great and busy week! We had fun dressing up for all of the spirit days. We've also loved finding our Elf each day. On Monday, he left us a really fun game. We had to find all the elves in the room and write down the sight words that were with them. Our tradition shares have been wonderful. It's nice to hear all of the traditions going on in our families! We had fun playing some of the games from the tradition shares and loved all of the snacks! Today we had the best field trip to The Grand in Ellsworth to see Elf, the Musical. The kids were amazing! It was a long bus ride and 2.5 hour show. They couldn't have been any better. It was fun watching their faces filled with wonder and excitement! Thank you to the PTO for sponsoring our trip!
You might have noticed we have only had reading HW this week. This will continue next week. I know this is a crazy time of year so I was trying to lessen your load a little. Also, there is no official HW over vacation. It is important for your child to keep reading which I know most of you do anyway. If you would like me to pack up some books on your child's level for vacation, just shoot me an email. Otherwise, I'll know you have enough at home already. :)
