Hi! We have been busy this week. We had our first snow day, tradition shares, a concert and learned about the Hanukkah traditions. We also started writing special notes to each of our classmates that we are going to open on the day before vacation begins. The kids are having fun finding spots to write in that no one can see. We did a few other things but those are surprises for later ;)!
We have a field trip to see Elf the musical in Ellsworth on Friday. Please make sure your child is here on time so s/he doesn't miss the bus. We will leave at 8:15.
We said good-bye to Miss Jarvis today. We surprised her with a gift card to BAM so she can get books for her classroom, funky pens for her desk, a special book and homemade cards. We're hoping to see her subbing in our building until she finds her own classroom.
We did not assess all and oll in UFLI. We are going to continue with these sounds next week.
Next week our school is having a spirit week. Monday is Pajama Day. Tuesday is Twin Day (I am wearing all blue if anyone wants to twin with me!) Wednesday is Wacky Day. Thursday is Throwback Day (Dress from another era.) Friday is Dress Like a Teacher. (Let's dress in Veazie colors or t-shirts since it's our field trip day!)
