Dear Parents,
Hi! We've had a great week! We frosted cupcakes, made homemade lemonade, wrote metaphors about summer, did beach ball STEM activities, worked with phonic centers, wrote in camp journals, did math and read. We especially like reading from our Poetry Books each day. We are learning lots of old fashioned camp songs. Their favorite is BABY BUMBLEBEE.
I can't believe we only have eight more camp days together! I have some special stuff planned. On Monday, July 14th we will be tie-dying t-shirts. Nothing is needed. I have all the supplies already to go. I just wanted to give you a heads up to dress in clothes that you don't mind getting stained if we happen to have a spill. Most likely we will have no messes but I like to give notice :).
Thursday, July 25th is our last day of camp. We will be going on a field trip to Uno's. We will get a tour of the restaurant and even get to make our own pizzas! We will stay and eat our pizzas when they are done. The bus will run on the same time schedule.
