Hi! We can't believe we only have five days left together!! We are excited for summer but first grade has been amazing! It's been such an incredible year! We couldn't have asked for a better class.
This week we've been busy reading Andre, tie-dying t-shirts, looking how to use Word Art on the chrome books and going through all of our stuff! Some of us have finished our math and spelling books. However, many will finish next week. We also drew our Books for Bikes winners. We were so proud of the kids...what great sports! They were so happy for each other. Great reading by all!
We will be painting ocean animals on the t-shirts we tie-dyed on Monday and Tuesday. We will wear these shirts on field day on Friday.
On Wednesday we will be having a beach themed day. We have lots of fun activities planned!
Thursday is Step Up Day. Students will be meeting with their second grade teacher, Mrs. Humphrey.
Friday is Field Day. We will also be having a barbecue.
Next week is supposed to be really hot. Please make sure your child brings a water bottle. They can be filled/refilled here.
