Hello! We've had a great short week! We watched them drill a 60 meter borehole in Kenya to find possible drinking water. We worked with the short e sound and sounding out CVC words. We did lots of word work with Halloween poems and Dan the Flying Man big books. We made jack-o-lanterns for our windows. We also practiced all the ways to make ten in math. Our spelling words for next week will be: jet, set, met, bed, yes, leg, for, on, are and as. We started on them this week so they shouldn't be a surprise.
