Hi! Our room is now half rainforest, half learning hut. The kids did a great job on it! They are excited for you to see it on Wednesday! We made it to the stage this week in costumes! We will perform for the school on Tuesday and then the real show is Wednesday at 8:30!! Family and friends are invited.
We learned about Jane Goodall and why she is important to the world. We learned about macaws and drew some for our rainforest.
We got a letter and stickers from Tracey West, author of Dragon Masters!! She loved our dragon pictures we sent her. Many have showed up on her Facebook author page. Chloe was chosen to get a signed copy of her latest book!
I would LOVE for kids to take all of their winter stuff home that is in their lockers on Monday. You might want to send an extra bag. Some kids have LOTS of stuff here. :)

Friday, May 2 - Miss Ortiz’s last day. :(
