Hi! What a great week! The kids have been on stage a lot! They definitely are beginning to feel comfortable up there :)! We finished up our fairy tale unit with our play, THE RUNAWAY UNICORN. It was great to see so many of you there. The kids were amazing! We will finish out the year with a small unit on Mexican traditions. We will also finish up our Light and Communication unit in science.
The Kindness Elf is visiting our room! He came today. We were so excited to see him. He left us a note with a special Random Act of Kindness we should do. Ask your child what it was. As part of this kindness theme we made stockings to act as mailboxes. We are writing special notes to each other that we will open on our last day before vacation. I did tell the kids if they had something already at home that they would like to add to these (such as a Hershey kiss) they may as long as there is one for everyone. No one needs to go out a buy something. We are focusing on giving from the heart!
We learned about reindeer this week and even made some. You might have seen one of our projects at the concert! We did some non-fiction writing to go with our reindeer.

- No progress notes until 2016. Everyone is doing the best they can during a very exciting time of year :)!
- We learned to use Pages with our Peer Helpers this week. It was fun trying out different fonts, colors and adding pictures to our mini posters!
