NEWSLETTER 4-14-16

Hi! What an exciting week! We started using the Lego WeDo2 kits! The kids did such a great job at building Milo the Rover and then programming it to move, change color and even talk!  We can’t wait to build and program even more!

We also started learning about the rain forest. We learned the four layers. We will be learning about some of the animals and plants that live there after vacation.

Our play, AN EARTH DAY CAROL is coming along great! We will share it with family and friends on Friday, May 13th at 8:30 am in the cafeteria. We will invite you back to our room after for stories and treats.

I can’t even believe we are at that point of the year I start making an event schedule! It is going way too fast! I will try to keep you up to date with as much advance notice as I can. I know how crazy the end of the year can be.

Homework for Vacation - Please have your child read and/or do IXL for twenty to thirty minutes for at least five of the nine days of vacation. Each student also has been given a rain forest animal to research. Students will have a chance to share three to five interesting facts about their animal.
