First Grade News 2-4-22

Hi! I don't know about you but I'm done with the snow! No more snow days, please! We have learned about all of the planets now. Next week we will hit the dwarf planets, stars and moon. We also started learning about Chinese New Year with Ms. Bilodeau. We worked with the entire school to make a huge dragon. We also made origami tigers, lanterns and dragon masks. We learned to use chopsticks and wrote Chinese numbers during a math activity! Monday we will celebrate by wearing red, having a special lunch and doing a few projects.

We finished our first math book. We will begin our second one this week. We took our spelling tests early because of the snow day. We had fun taking them with a partner. Everyone got them all correct. :)
