First Grade Newsletter 2-10-23

Hi! What an exciting week! We had a wonderful performance from the Hampden Academy Chorus and Band. The Husson Football team came in and ran Super Bowl stations. The PTO provided tailgating snacks. We learned about the phases of the moon. We did a great moon project. And how can I forget...we celebrated the 100th day of school! You have to go on the blog and check out the pictures we took using the Aging App!

We did lots of writing! We wrote about what our lives would be like as 100 year olds. We wrote about what we would buy with $100. We also wrote about what we would do on the moon.

Our Valentine's Day Party will be on Tuesday, I'm sent another list for Valentines through email in case yours is missing. We also have a new student starting on Monday. We are very excited to meet her and so glad she'll be here for Valentine's Day!

There will be no spelling lists next week. We will be doing a huge review and lots of word work. We will start back up with our regular program after vacation.

Our field trip to the planetarium will be Thursday, Feb. 16th.
Bus leaves at 9:10 and returns at 10:50.

Mid Trimester Reports are coming home today. :)

Happy Weekend!!
