NEWSLETTER 3-2-18

Hi! This has been a busy and fun week! We started our new unit, Oh, The
Places You’ll Go...a unit on maps and Dr. Seuss. Many were able to mail their
flat selves” to another place in the country. We can’t wait to get replies back so
we can put them on our map! If you haven’t sent in an address yet, there is still
time! We worked with the compass rose to figure out which way we travel home
from school. We also did a couple of Seuss projects. Ask your child about them.

SWIM / GYM

We will start our six weeks of swim and gymnastics lessons at the Old Town
YMCA on Tuesday. Please make sure your child wears comfortable clothes
(athletic pants, sweatpants or leggings and a t-shirt) and brings a bathing suit
and towel. Goggles are also allowed. Please put names on whatever you can.
This will help with mix-ups in the locker room.

THANK YOU NOAH AND FAMILY

We had so much fun learning and actually seeing how maple syrup is made.
Thank you for having us over! The maple syrup that was made from our visit
was delicious! We had it drizzled over ice cream this afternoon!
