We were busy on our Early Release Day...
we made leprechaun traps!

We shared our traps with our school friends.
The kids did a great job answering questions and
explaining how their traps work.
They always amaze me with their engineering skills!

We wrote notes to make sure the leprechauns knew
VCS was going to celebrate St. Patrick's Day a day early.
The leprechauns listened but...
we didn't catch any!
They set off our traps and...
left us some great surprises!
They gave us an inside rainbow to enjoy!
We made edible rainbows...yum!
We solved riddles, played math games, read stories and did
MadLibs as we listened to Irish music this afternoon.
We had short but busy week.
