Hi! We had a GREAT time at Conant's Apple Orchard today! We went on a wagon ride through the orchard, learned about the cycle of the apple tree, why sometimes crops don't always produce a lot of apples, learned how the cider press works, tasted apple cider and apple donuts, fed ducks and goats, and saw cows, donkeys and horses! Thank you to everyone who sent in quarters! We had enough to each feed the animals three times! It was so much fun!!! We got back to school and used an apple/peeler/corer to make applesauce. We will eat our applesauce tomorrow! We also made apple people. Here are the pics from today.
