SECOND GRADE NEWS 12-2-16
Hi! It’s December...yikes! We are working up a storm and are totally settled in our new room. We started a new Social Studies unit on Economics. We’ve learned lots about wants and needs (perfect for this time of year), goods and services, consumers and producers. We’ve also talked about the difference between saving money in our piggy bank vs. a real bank. We will continue with this unit the rest of the month.
Kindness is another theme this month. We hung lights that tell about a time when we were kind. We also used rulers to make some pretty cool trees. We thought really hard for an entire day about a motto we believe in and would like to share with others. These are written on along the border of our trees. Ask your child what s/he said.

- Wednesday, December 21st - Pajama Day / Last day before break.
