SECOND GRADE NEWS 12-9-16
Hi! We said a sad good-bye to Miss LaGrange today! We surprised her with a party. We gave her ten books, tons of desk supplies, two photo albums, an ornament that has all of our names on it and a gift card to a teacher’s dream store, The Dollar Tree :)! We wish her the best as she graduates and hope to see her subbing in our building soon!
In Social Studies we learned more about consumers and producers. We also added in supply and demand. There are lots of budding entrepreneurs in here! We worked with our Primary Buddies to learn about Kwanzaa. We taught our younger friends how to weave mekakas.
We got letters back from our California pen pals! It’s sixty degrees there and no snow! We are trying to figure out a way to send them some of our snow or at least some fake snow ;)! They sent us a pendent from their school and pictures of themselves.
