First Grade News and Pics 11-27-24

Hi! It was a BUSY two days! I'm sure your kids came home tired. I know I did! We had a great time learning about lots of different careers. The kids did a good job at adjusting to a totally different schedule. I was able to squeeze in some time in the room which kept everyone happy. :)

We have two important days next week. Wednesday night is our Holiday Concert. Please have your child to the cafeteria at 5:50. The concert will start at 6:00.

Friday we will be going to The Grand in Ellsworth to watch the Frogtown Puppeteers perform The Grinch. Our bus will leave around 9:00. We will have breakfast snack before we leave. Your child can bring a small snack for the bus or theatre as long as it fits in their pocket.  We will be back before lunch. The office should be sending out permission slips early in the week. Unfortunately, we do not have room for chaperones. We are taking all of K-3 classrooms.

Some exciting news...we are getting a new student. We will meet Cecelia on Monday!

Please make sure your child keeps reading over these five days. We will finish up our light and sound unit when we return. We will also be learning about traditions around the world.
