WOW! What a week! Lots of exciting things happened! We went to The Grand to see The Headless Horseman. The Frogtown Puppeteers are hilarious! We celebrated the completion of our book series, The Pixie Tricks by Tracey West. It was kind of sad saying good-bye to it but we certainly had fun on Pixie Tricks Day! Sprite left us magic bags that had a Book of Tricks, purple, Queen Mab stone, pixie dust and even our own royal pixie tricker medal. We had Beastie Bites cereal and got Pixie Stix in the Guess Box. The best part was building fairy houses out behind the school. The kids did such a great job being creative and working together!
We put on a readers' theatre for PreK and Kindergarten. Ask your child which one s/he was in. After the play, we read them all of the books we have made so far in Grade One. These books will come home at Parent / Teacher Conferences.
The rain didn't put a damper on our Halloween activities! We moved our trick or treat math into the gym. We had a touchy - feely story called Poor Joe. We worked in teams to put Halloween sentences together. We danced and sang. We played Halloween Bingo. Thank you to the families that provided things to make our day special. It was lots of fun!
Congratulations to our five book vending machine recipients of the month. We can't wait to see who gets it next month!

* Wednesday, November 26 - Thanksgiving break begins.
